This isn’t just another marketing role — you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with our CEO, Customer Success, and Product teams, making a tangible impact on our company’s trajectory. If you’re passionate about driving growth and thriving in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for organizing industry-leading conferences (1 per year), including content/agenda, planning, budgeting, scheduling, and logistics, with direct support from the CEO (Marek has established the conference business Zero One Hundred Conferences).
  • Plan and execute online webinars (2-4 per year) focused on key VC industry topics, coordinating closely with relevant stakeholders.
  • Track marketing activities in HubSpot to analyze performance and optimize future strategies.
  • Plan and execute marketing activities in collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to drive lead generation and event participation.

  • Manage on-site event operations, liaise with vendors, and troubleshoot any issues to ensure seamless execution.
  • Cultivate and maintain an active and inclusive Slack community for our clients (Venture Capital professionals).
  • Facilitate discussions, organize events (AMA sessions, networking activities), and provide valuable resources to foster engagement and knowledge-sharing within the community.
  • Moderate slack discussions to ensure a respectful and constructive environment, addressing inquiries and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Implement strategies to grow the Slack community, focusing on expanding membership and enhancing interaction among members.

What we are looking for in a candidate for this position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Business English – written & spoken (C1/C2).
  • Minimum of two years experience in either events management or marketing.
  • Strong project management skills and budget planning with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize own workload.
  • Self-led with an ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, such as social media management tools, email marketing software, and analytics tools.
  • Nice to have: understanding of Slack or similar community platforms, along with experience in community management.

What can you expect to learn and accomplish in this role?

In this role, you’ll engage with industry leaders, master event management, develop sales and marketing skills, and collaborate across teams. From reaching out to potential speakers to managing partners and sponsors, you’ll learn networking, negotiation, and organizational skills. Selling tickets, promoting events, and setting up webinars will hone your sales and marketing abilities, while working with our marketing team will teach you effective collaboration and communication. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in multiple areas, providing you with a well-rounded skill set for future success.

Why Vestberry

We believe Vestberry is an opportunity to work on a successful local project in the fintech sector with clients worldwide. It’s still “just work,” and we try not to take ourselves too seriously, but we place importance on creating an environment where we can enjoy ourselves most of the time.

For the last four years, we’ve been building a fintech analytical tool that’s helping Private Equity & Venture Capital companies manage $6+ billion 💸 invested in 1 000+ companies who are trying to solve the world’s most pressing challenges, from climate change to mental health. 🌍

We are on track to become the industry’s standard for portfolio management 🚀 thanks to customers like Atomico – the 2nd largest venture capital firm in Europe, which invested in companies like Wolt, Skype, and Stripe.

To reach our ambitious but attainable goals 🌟 we have tripled the size of our team in the last 18 months, and we continue to grow. Our efforts are backed by angel investors from Slovakia, Scandinavia, and Malaysia. Among them, you can find Martin Hauge, one of the first investors in Spotify, or Pekka Mäki, managing partner in 3TS Capital Partners.
